ESEE pictures and chat 👍🏻

After removing coatings from ESEE knives the sheath usually has a loose fit. On this sheath I heated up the back of my sheath and pushed a screw driver in to make a retention divot. It's at a level of retention I like now, just enough.

I said this in another thread, but I love how good the red on my Izula goes with more earthy tones. On a side note, does anyone have recommendations for a good Izula handle? Or is a paracord wrap the way to go? Thanks!

Probably not very environmental, but where ever we take my young fella I carve an F in a tree and take a photo with of us beside the F tree. The photos are geo tagged so when he is older he can find them. We call it his F trail.

Probably this will sound a little provocative, but why so little attention to the cr2.5? After months of research, thinking, consideration, and hesitation - this is the only ESEE I have. Mine is the one with orange scales and leather sheath. I like this knife so much!

Maybe you can seduce us with some nice outdoorsy pics of the CR2.5 in action :p

Hopefully all those trees are still standing when your son gets older. That is a lot of damage you are doing. Sad!
They will be fine mate. It's been done for thousands of years by aboriginal Australians. It's called tree scarring. Paul House_web_4.jpg
Also survey trees or "blaze trees" have existed marking roads and land boundaries, right back to the late 1800's.8580a810-b2dd-11eb-bf7d-6d5ea4ee557e.jpeg
Our trees are slow growing and very resilient I know they will still be there, for my son and grandson.
