Today is a day my family feeds the rest of my family and some good friends. It's our annual Camp Oven Cookout. I chose the IZULA to prep everything this time and it performed very well.

Stripped with an apple cider vinegar patina. I like how it came out, but I don't think I'll be doing anymore. The coating/primer the use is good stuff. The stripper takes the bulk of it off, but was a lot of sanding to get it where I wanted.

Not a promise, but will try within a month. A recent purchace, and still looks new, so no character is developed yet.
Used it few times. cutting foam, cabbages, and some tiny branches. Few times I was close to hurt myself because I am used to hold slipjoints and I felt awcward. Here is the knife pictured with two of my favorite slipjoints. Because the handle is not so high to fill the hand, in my experience it is best to hold the tumb at the base of the spine. So, full grip and maximum pushing force are not for this knife. It is good for tasks normally dedicated for slipjonts, but with peace of mind that the knife will withstand and no wories of breaking or woobling.
