I have a 5 but have not used it much. Not because it seems "too thick". Just have not gotten around to it yet.

I have always been curious why they chose just that one model to be the odd one out. Were they just wanting a model that stands out as possible being a more stout chopper. I have never seen any discussion why just the one is thicker (as far as I know).

I will admit though, it is a very nice sharpened pry-bar.

Supposedly it was designed for downed pilots to cut themselves out of an airplane

If I’m not mistaken, it was designed as a survival knife for pilots in the the military.

Has anyone seen the new knife ESEE is teasing on their instagram page? They just showed parts of it, not the entire knife. It was A2 steel, micarta scales, and they are calling it the Sencillo.

This. This is the knife I have been waiting for since selling my Esee 3. I love my Bradford 3.5 in 3v, but I will be getting one of those in Magnacut
