Sorry for the disappointment, I can only do an Urban living review and it'll be for pleasure.
The ESEE5 can really do all you want. It's a perfect Do-It-All that you would appreciate being at your side whether you're taking a cool break in the woods or working on your latest project of home improvement. The knife is really a knife on steroids.
Harvesting, chopping and skinning. I can imagine how a knife like this would excel in all the above tasks. It has a generous amount of Belly(curvature) that many people like for it's utilitarian capabilities.
Blade thickness. This subject has been covered and discussed. This is the knife if your life had to depend on it performing. The blade stock is .25", this will undoubtedly hinder performance in some tasks but redeems itself in tasks such as splitting wood.
Below are a few pictures I took earlier harvesting. We don't own a farm here so harvesting is limited to a certain known produce especially famous in this state.
This is one of my Orange trees. The day is bright and the Oranges are becoming ripe. What a perfect time for a Citrus fruit!
Penetrating capabilities retain even though the tip has suffered some extreme use! I congratulate those who has tested the knife with such dedication. I would not find myself doing that! Deer frequently appear on the other side of the pond, sometimes a family of 4 will appear. Turkeys are due right about now as well
20 Degrees per side, 40 Degrees inclusive. I'd advise those who will be doing chopping to remain in the 25-30 degrees a side limit so the edge retention is prolonged.
Contents: One Navel Orange. One ESEE-5
Cutting the Orange proved to be no stranger to the wood chipping ESEE-5. Wow this thing was sweet!(The knife!)
