Folding Hunter by Boker from 1979 to commemorate the American Hardware Industry.
This knife is special to me, as my Dad ran a hardware store at the time and I worked there for him during my teenage years. (40 years and many jobs later, he is still the best boss I ever had!)

Etches are not a major factor when deciding to buy a knife, but a clear, meaningful, appropriately sized etch can add to the aesthetics of a knife.

The top two are great examples in my opinion.

This particular Radio Jack etch is my favorite on all of my knives. This is the one instance where I may not have bought the knife if it weren't for the etch.

I love all versions of the TC Sheepfoot etch, but I think this simple one might be tops in my opinion.

On the other hand...
The Missouri Trader is my favorite big GEC, but I would prefer this one without the etch. If I used this one, I wouldn't cry a bit over the etch fading or disappearing altogether.
