Man, this gathering is shaping up to be a doozy!

BTW, having had meat from a pig cooked on a hand-rotated spit, I can assure you it is a life changing experience!

Yeah, I got sick the last time I was at a pig roast from eating the meat. Some was burnt, some was done, and some was nearly raw. I think I ate some of the almost raw stuff but it looked done.
 
This is killing me! I'm not going to be able to make it due to actually having to earn money at a day job. I'll be in west Texas/southern New Mexico doing some "stuff" for six-ish weeks starting in early April. Sigh....maybe next time.

I will eat pretty much anything that doesn't eat me first.

For those with more refined palates, I welcome suggestions for treats made by my lovely wife. She's batting 1.000 so far, so...
 
Guyon's nuts have become very popular since he whipped them out at the last gathering. He's pretty proud of them too.
 
Nobody that got a whiff of them could resist his nuts. If I had nuts like that I wouldn't be able to keep my hands off of them.

I remember the first time I tried his nuts. He had been plying me with liquor. Ah, memories on Half Moon Ridge...
 
Yeah. I was standing in a group when he just walked up with that big grin and showed everybody his nut sack.
 
I got so caught up daydreaming about the tepid, slightly salty contents of Guyon's buttery sac that I forgot to mention that myself and the missus will be there as well! Also, I'm all about eating all the pig. Best idea ever.
