Watch out for boilover whenever you add hops, they can turn a gentle boil into a near explosion of sugary-hoppy syrup that you want no part of having to scrub off your stove! And I'd love to talk some brewing at the gathering :D
 
Got it covered. Long story that I’ll tell you at the gathering but I got a pretty good mentor with the deal. Short story is my buddy at the FD just opened a brewing store. Always looking for more info though. Can’t wait.

anyone driving through SC, I need a couple cases of Blenheim original "hot" ginger ale. (or the ginger beer if they have any) can pay cash or do a leatherwork trade.

Started prepping the vehicle last night and organizing the gear. Little more work to do this eve and we hit the road Thursday after work. Likely stop somewhere overnight on Thursday and do the final push on Friday. Looking forward to the trip!
 
The other thread was closed about what we would like people to bring to the gathering so I thought I would ask this here........sorry if this is inappropriate. However, if anybody has or is bringing either a Hennessy or a Warbonnet hammock then I would like to look at them while we are there. I'm interested in getting one but I'm not sure which I would prefer. Thanks to anybody that can bring either.
 
I think that is a totally valid request. I think Guyon has a Hennessy that he swings in and he should be there Saturday.
