The weather is still supposed to be about perfect....Fifties at night.....Low eighties with sun and a few clouds......

Next year Uncle E, I'll be there with bells on. This year, finances and time prevented us from making the trip. I'll make sure to bring down some smoked salmon and maple syrup for hot cakes!
 
moose said that sunday we just leave . that right ? i dont live far from there so i might just cut out late saturday night if theres nothin going on sunday .
 
If everyone's tag says My Name is etc etc it would get REALLY confusing quickly! Plus you'd have to teach me, how do you pronounce etc etc? I would think it would sound like a .22 ricochet.

If history is any kind of marker, Sundays are generally "get over the hang over, good bye, trade stuff kind of day". Some folks live a good piece away, and need the day of travel to get back.

This sucks hardcore, but I have multiple issues that are going to prevent me from making it now. Not happy about it at all. Wife swears on the alter of Beckerdom that nothing will stand in my way in the fall. Damn Straight. To try and make up for it, I'm going out in the woods Saturday night with my Beckerless Best Friend and gifting him my Camillus BK7 to get him started (AFTER my car gets out of the shop). The only upside I see is noone will attempt to accost me in ways I'll need thearpy for later in my hammock.

Sorry. If it weren't for this stupid layoff, stupid family backing out on me and stupider check engine light....Going to still get out in the woods Saturday night with my best bud to make up for it (EDIT: I just said that. Duh). Decided since he is Beckerless, to gift him my Camillus BK7 and make my own mini-gathering. I was looking forward to this. My layoff is keeping me from the Pathfinder Gathering too. At least this one was free.
 
It's all good. We are really looking forward to the pics and the stories. I just want to hear the "unedited" version from somebody. Also, someone will have to fill in for me keeping an eye on Murphy. Don't let him hurt himself.


Edit: I was counting on Tanner to watch Murph for me, but I see he can't make it either. Sorry to hear that Tanner. Hopefully fall will see us all there.

At least there will be a few extra charecters in the fall. I think Clich said he can make that too. And maybe I can wrangle the 5 other Beckerheads in my area to carpool or something and get more peeps. Looking forward to fall having more contests and such. And I'll have waaay more blades.

"Hurt" myself?! Funny, my mom used to tell me not to do that too. Why, just last week...nevernind. Hurting isn't the same as flogging the dolphin. All my knives have had the edges rounded and/or removed as is ordered by the state. Moose will be climbing into my tent this time. That way nobody gets hurt if it ain't setup right.
 
Oh man, can't wait to see what happens at this gathering. Or is it like vegas.....What happens at Ethan's, goes on youtube !!!!!! hahaha
 
Just remember to capture me on film from my good side. wait, I dont have a good side! Oh no.....
