Ethics of coffee

Drink Mocha. Tell them it is hot chocolate (which is partially is) and you'll have your caffeine.
Everyone is happy.

I'm glad things worked out for you. I'm certain it was good for the Mormons too.

beezaur, sounds like you all had an enjoyable time. I bet they learned a lot from you. You're right, most populations fall on a bell shaped curve with a few really attentive kids, a few who don't want anything to do with what's going on and show it by skylarking around, and most somewhere in the middle. Glad "coffee" didn't get in the way of a "teaching situation." I commend you for offering your valuable time to inspire youth.

I say go for the coffee, but dont make a big deal about it. I dont think anyone has the right to impose their religious beliefs on you but I think it would be bad form to make a big deal about something you know they dont partake in (im not suggesting you would do this, meerely stating a point!) I dont drink alcohol or eat beef, although this is through choice not religious reasons i dont have a problem with people who do as long as they dont try and force me to! I drink alot of very strong coffee and I dont have a problem with people who dont as long as they dont tell me I shouldnt!

go for the coffee dont make abig deal out of it just drink it like you dont even know they dont drink it.
