Eu-17 info

Can tell you this what i do remember about the EU-17 series: They did came in 3 diffrent versions; Regular, Mini and Magnum (9,5"). The Magnum on the bottum of the pic is #11 out of 28, the other 3 shares the same serial number, Regular and Mini was made in diffrent numbers than the Magnum.

I still have one as well. EU handle is one of if not the most comfortable handle Busse has ever made. Great knife.

Those are beautiful-Thanks

When the second and third EU-17s were offered, Busse allowed you to specify the number you wanted inside the series if still available. As a result, I have a complete set of #9's. Of the three lengths I like the mini the best.

that's awesome, I bet there aren't a handful of people left with a numbers matching set of 3. I automatically assumed Jaxx would be the one guy, but his join date wasn't until 2006.... I'm sure it didn't stop him from getting his set, probably the only ones with satin and tigerhide

Found this old Busse pic of a Mini EU-17 without number, thought i would share.

It's a worthy grail.

So many of the older blades seem less valued by the newer hogs and piglets. Good for buyers, not as good for sellers. So it goes.

In the year and a half I have been buying Busse I have seen things slow down on the exchange as well as knives decrease in value. I have really enjoyed operation 2 weeks and it has given myself and others a chance to acquire a lot of knives we otherwise might not be able to afford. However, the flip side is that it keeps a lot of us broke and we have less money to spend on the exchange. When operation 2 weeks is up then the market will stabilize.
