Eureka, Talon, 92 Photo Gallery

I could certainly bond with a Northfield single :D That Spear is much nicer looking than the Wharncliffe.

Trouble is, they all seem to have become extinct just like that... I wonder why.....:confused:;):D

Regards, Will

Great thread Primble. I'm sorry that it's taken me so long to stumble across it, but I'll happily post my meager collection. Maybe I should send you a few of these so that you can take some 'glamour shots' of them... on second thought, after realizing how smitten you are with the pattern, maybe I better not let them out of my sight. ;) :p :)

Here's a couple Che Chen Rosewood GEC's (two blade and single):

The next two JBF Champlins came to me courtesy of Mike (Galvanic 1882). The Rosewood Eureka Jack was/is a grail knife for me. Thanks again Mike! :) :D

This old OVB is one of my most prized possessions:

The dual blades are all safe from me but I'd like to see all of the single blade variants. I am a threat in that arena. ;)

I've got a goldenrod jigged 92 spear point en route. Pics when it lands!

Stephen - Beautiful specimens !!! :eek::eek::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::)

Every single one of them. ;)

Just sent this off to get sharpened by Razor Edge Knives following a sloppy reprofile done by me, but I found a pic of back it was shiny and brand new. I'll update with a more recent photo when I get it back with its new edge:

Beautiful !

Here's my single single:

Stephen, these two bareheads are stunning examples of the pattern. :thumbup:
I would love to one day find one of the Rosewood Champlin Eureka's

Stephen - Those are all wonderful examples, every last one of them!!! :cool::cool::cool:

Rachel - That Heinz 57 will do the trick. Got some on my 48 during the 4th and it added some great character :D

That is a terrific Spear single :cool:

Thanks, Paul. Really a nice knife and one I surely enjoy pocketing. Of all my traditionals, this is the one I actually just stop for a minute and admire every time I use it. This one absolutely nails the whole "build them like they used to" mantra like no other knife in GEC's stable. There's a very good reason you don't see many of these come up for sale.

Thanks. It seemed appropriate, both made in Pennsylvania. ;)

Agreed. Another very beautiful example Jamie. My Rosewood JBF Champlin is one of my favorite knives now. I doubt that will change. :)

Very nice patina Rachel. :thumbup::)

Hey guys thanks for all the kind words about the Champlin knives, it was truly a labor of love to put the design together and have GEC make them. I still remember the day I had all of them on my living room floor before I mailed them out! At the time I said more then once "I can't sell these"

Hopefully someday we can offer another knife that has the same appeal.

All the knives in this thread are just great so thanks to all for posting them. Mike & Derek
