The top left is the ebony 92 that some really great guy gifted me;). Shieldless. The one that got me re-started on my Eureka quest!

Is that the only shieldless knife that gec has produced, no-shield stag excluded of course?

The two to the right of that are actually shieldless too!

The boys knives, and some abalone/fancy material pieces have no shields either. But yes, proportionately speaking, there are not many pieces without a shield, on patterns that typically would have them.

Amazing group/collection. Curious if you have a favorite.

Thank you Tim!

Being 100% honest, I could probably write a paragraph for each knife, detailing reasons why it is my favorite. At least for most of them anyway.

I have a few with great sentimental value. The Ebony, Galvanic Rosewood, and JBF Rosewood are each very special.

Based on appearance alone, the Champlins are tough to beat, but my Autumn Gold jigged bone, or Black & White Buffalo Horn are also up there.

I suppose if I was forced to choose just one, in some dramatic hypothetical....the Autumn Gold jigged bone would probably be the one.

GEC did good work coloring that camel bone compared to most I've seen
