Ever get a knife so sharp you don't want to use it?

I just went through what you are talking about. Got my first custom 110 and intended it to be my new EDC, first few days I was a bit worried about using it but given it was the only knife on my in a few different situations I had to get it used and dirty. Just that much more character to a knife that'll serve me many years. just take the dive and go for it! worst case you'll just get better and better at sharpening it up.

I know. Eventually i'm going to have to resharpen the edge anyway so I mite as well use the knife. I Really love that custom 110 :thumbup:
 
I go for shaving sharp and once I reach that Im good. Havent really done much testing of sharpness, just shave my arm quick and then I know its good enough for my uses

So no, I havent had a blade too sharp to use:)
 
When I get back from New York I am going to make a thread about the 3V machete that Richard J and I collaborated on...

Yes, it is that sharp.

so true! my mother in law cuts herself so much after i sharpen her knifes that im starting to think im probebly the one that hurt her the most in her entire life -_-
