Hey Scott. I have that one book marked for a bid attempt. I was with SDPD from 1973 through 1981 and that old building shown on the knife has a lot of meaning to me (as well as all the folks I carted down there against their will)Scott Hartman said:

Thanks Scott. What is your ebay name? I'd like to be able to show you the same courtesy some time.Scott Hartman said:I won't bid against you on that one Mike, it would show better in your collection:thumbup:
Thanks Scott, I can only echo that sentiment. :thumbup:Scott Hartman said:I'm tripleslamx, you'll see that alot. I hope the guys here will show you the same courtesy
It is just that Chickentrax. When I would go camping I used those iron on patches for denim and a very thin layer of clear and flexible contact glue to hold the cloth to the wood inlays. Why? To keep the knife from slipping when wet (cooking, fishing, etc). That was back in the day when I didn't have the smarts (or $$) to get another good knife. Always the 110...it would last a weekend of medium use and the glue just peeled off w/o leaving any residue.chickentrax said:Marv - What *is* that???![]()
