Ever Snagged Your Pocket Clip?

I was making a Forced Entry in a narcotics raid and caught the clip of my Spyderco Wayne Goddard Lightweight on the door frame It broke the clip right off. I called Spyderco and told them what had happened and within tow days they had mailed and I had received a new pocket clip. Great customer service.

I think the knife clipped to your back pocket is the worst place for, things to happen. Leather chairs and door strikers are
prime targets. I too have had my steel clip Endura get caught on a large plastic trash bag I was carring to the dumpster. Damn those plastic bags for trying to steal our knives. Thankfully I noticed before it was too late.
I have caught a couple of plastic cliped knives but never snapped one off though.
Have bent several metal clips through the years.
Best of the plastic clips IMHO was Cold Steel's large Voager series. They were shaped so that was not much to catch on. Too bad so much of the knife handle stuck out of the pocket though.
