This, for me as well.Ive not reached in and found a different one than I was expecting but I have found on occasion a second (third) I didn't know I had.
Yep. I only rotate 3 knives, and randomly. You can take the dirty jokes to W&C where I will appreciate them greatly.
So it happens sometimes that I'm out and about and reach for my knife, thinking I know what knife is coming out of my pocket, but I'm surprised to find it's a different knife from my arsenal.
This happened to me yesterday where I expected to produce an Opinel #6 but I found my Case large stockman instead.
I think back to earlier that morning and then I remember how I made the choice I made and it all makes sense.
Only once was it a case where I just picked up a knife without looking.
Does this ever happen to you?
Ever surprised by what's in your pocket?
At my age I am more surprised when it is NOT in my pocket!
"Do you have a knife?"
"Sure...umm, well no, I forgot it again."
This is me too.Yes, I do this a lot because I start playing with my knives at night and will often change my mind several times. Then the next morning I stop and think, which one did I put in my pocket?
