Every Day Carry; What are You Packing?

I carry a Glock 17 most of the time. Although, I will admit it can be a bit cumbersome. My wife carries a ruger 380 lcp. I got it for her because she had no interest in carrying something as big as a glock, but I wanted her to have protection with her. I will completely admit that not only does she carry it whenever she needs to........but I have also stolen it on numerous occasions :) Because honestly, it fits so nicely in my back pocket, I really don't even know it is there.

Now the downside with it is accuracy out to any significant distance. My groups even as close as 10 yards with my glock and with the ruger are not even remotely comparable (wish I still had some targets laying around to measure, but I would say my grouping at least doubles in size). But, I just assume that if it ever comes to needing to use a ccw, they will be well within that distance. And the saying that goes something like.....the gun in your belt is worth a thousand at home...comes to mind. Get something that you will never complain about taking with you, no matter what you are wearing, etc.

If it's more than 10 yards and you hit your target, you're almost certainly going to jail.

Glock 43 all around seems like good carry planning on getting my wife one for her bday. I wanted to get her a xds 40 but she dosnt like the way it fit in her hand she really likes xd 40 but lil big for everyday carry on small framed ladie

I´m a revolver guy and I EDC carry a Taurus 617.
My EDC dream gun is a Ruger GP100 Wiley Clapp but in the past few days I´m thinking about "keeping the fire" and the idea of carrying a pistol came do my mind. My choice probably will be a Glock 19 but I (if a I had the option) would like a Sig P320 Compact (or Carry).

P.s.: I live in Brazil.

So is this thread still technically going, or has it been necro'ed?

If it's still active, I carried a Ruger LCP with CT laser for almost a year. Then I upgraded to a Glock 26 for concealed carry and I like it a whole lot better. What I'd really like to do is carry my 19 on my belt, but that's just not feasible right now.

Nice Charlie,
The 19 is a lot more enjoyable to carry, but it is much more difficult to figure out a feasible way to carry it. I carry a glock 17 inside the waist band, but that only works when I'm not tucking in a button up shirt or wearing just a t-shirt.

If we're bringing this thread back, we might as well do it properly with some pics:

Most days I carry a Glock 26 gen4 in a G-code incog IWB. If I want to go light, I carry a S&W 637 in a custom leather IWB.

G19 for years. Glocks are not the prettiest guns and I'm a 1911 fan. But they won me over with reliability. Also have a fixed and folder with me and some type of flashlight. On the rare occasion that my G19 wont work with what I'm wearing I'll have a S/W Airweight.

In case that you`r not allowed to carry a handgun, just sayin`...

Excuse me, do you have a permit for that baboon...

Also, your hyena appears to have a large capacity magazine with a barrel shroud, that's a violation. :o

Did notice that barrel shroud myself too, but guess that they dosnt have any laws against that in Nigeria, as they all seem to have one...
