We're surviving- say will have power back between Tues-Fri-hope tues:confused: Supposed to get more tommorow:mad:

Glad you're making it through imafritz. Got nothing here in the Hudson Valley region of NYS, about an hour north of NYC. Been a dead winter here, maybe a foot+ or so all season, but cold as anything.

'fritz, I'm glad you had a place to go....my in-laws are in a hotel since their power went out(really, it was to far for me to drive and pick them up;):p) I'm thankful I haven't had to fire up the generator or start burning the furniture. My back and shoulders are killin' me! The dog is the only one havin' fun:D

Today woke up to heavy snow, 6" to 8" predicted. Which for us here on the OK/Ark line is good snow. Went to Tractor Supply and bought scoop shovel, currently snow almost stopped at 2" amd thawing on roads and driveways. Local folks can thank me for that. Works the same for knives, I buy one and the price goes down.......Lets see what is the name of that car in the garage....Camary......300Bucks

Hmm, weather in my town:

Today
Cloudy this morning then becoming partly sunny. Highs in the upper 40s to mid 50s. Southeast wind to 10 mph.

Where's the snow? Oh yes, I see it in the distance up in the mountains.

Cute dog pictures Scott. My dog (pictured) used to love the snow. (He passed away last year at age 13 & 1/2. I had him since puppyhood.)

That heavy snow would break our trees and take power lines down . We'd be in bad shape if that much fell here, not much would move for days . Thanks for the pictures .
Stay warm . DM

This afternoon was the forst time we got out. The company doing snow removal for our neighborhood was woefully up the this much snow, and had to go lease a comercial bucket loader. It took till this late afternoon to shovel up out.

Now we have another storm on the way, with up to 15 to 20 inches more snow. Just time to make a supply run and make sure we have the essentials. Evan Williams, pipe tobacco, slim jims.

I just may sell the place this summer and go live in a trailer in the 'key's after this!:grumpy:

(Gettin awfully tired of the color white. )

Maybe you could park yer r.v at sunnyd's house :D

We got about 30 inchs in Maryland. And calling for up to 10 inches tomorrow! I'm not happy! We have no where to put the snow. I spend all day Saturday, Sunday and Today shoveling snow. There is no where to put any more snow :S

Thanks for the good wishes-Good dog action shot Scott. My Blue heeler mix loves the snow, has to bounce like a deer cause the snows about ear high. Lost power at work just after opening this thread, got power back to the house last night but didnt move back in til today and just got done gettin everything back in order. 6-12 more inches scheduled and is snowing pretty hard now. As bad as we got it, I feel bad for you guys in Md area, looks like you'll get some of the worst of it again. Good luck and God bless to all. Keep smiling:)

We were supposed to get some of that one last week but it never happened. You'd think there'd be a bunch of disbelievers this time but i went to the Supermarket and couldn't even get a parking space and its huge!! Everyone stocking up 'for the big one' here in NY tonight.

Snow is about to arrive in 5 hours here outside of boston. looking forward to it. as always we are ready and prepared. the wife and I spent 9 days last year because of an ice storm with no heat, no electricity with no problems. it was just like the nights we spend in the mountains, just with a more comfortable bed! :)

Woke up this morning and we're screwed, blued, and tatoo'ed again.

Took two days for the homeowners association to dig us out the last one, now we're burried in our cul-de-sak again. Oh well. Food and whiskey and Captain Morgans rum and pipe tobacco holding out for another two days. I hope.

I'm gettin too old for this shite!:grumpy::grumpy:
