Everybody ok after the snow

When we moved there in the early 50's cotton grew up to our back porch and there was only one red light in town . DM
 
Unreal...here in the Pacific Northwest where we SHOULD be getting snow, it's been above 55 degrees everyday for 2+ weeks straight. The snow pack in the Cascades the farmers are depending on to fill the water resivoirs is only at 70%.....what a wacky a$$ winter this has been....Hope all you folks on the East side make out ok....mail some of that fluff this way...we need it!!

My nephew in N. Ft. Worth said he had 10 inches on the ground. He was suppose to go hunting in South Texas, but has wife with cold, baby with cold, dog with ear infection and now snow. He doesn't drink or smoke, but I give him three days before he calls and asks which is the best cheap wiskey......300

As you can see I live in South Carolina and it is snowing right now. Global warming.

they said we have 4 feet of snow on the ground now
my street only has one lane plowed and it is in city limits!!
oh well .. hopefully it will melt by the time i get back..
 
Anyone live around Sterling, VA? I had a package shipped from there Feb 8 and the seller told me today it was probably being held up because of the weather. I was wondering why the package hasn't moved.

I think Sterling is right out by Dulles Airport and right in the thick of things, it may be hung up.
 
step daughter said total for our town in WV

Wow,

I know a lot of you folks live in parts of our wonderful country where it snows. So most if not all of you have snow on the ground outside right now. Where I live last week we had some rain...not much. This weekend was like spring here, sunny and hitting about 70 deg, tree's are blooming across the street. Sunny and warm -vs- 58" of snow in 3 weeks! My state is starting the 4th year of drought, anyone know a rain dance?

My mom heard we are supposed to get another big snow storm here in Maryland :mad: Up to another 60 inches! :eek: I think I'm going to move to California, whose with me?
