The scales from the 7 are doing temporary duty on the "brute tribute" till the maple burl scales arrive

I bought some wood blanks to try my hand, I also bought some Tommy the Who scales to keep me humble, at which, they were successful!

The grivory is a tough handle, though very smooth to grasp. The abrasive blast is a great idea!

Hey tangle...did you make that 5 tanto???? If so,i m curious to know how you did that.

Not the blade, I shaped the scales from plain Bocote blanks. I bought them on ebay as a single block that was separated into two halves.
