just ordered a 710 plain edge satin, hopefully i'll have it by the middle of the week, so who knows... that might be my new number one

I have 2 favorite folders:1. Kevin Wilkins Avalon 3. 2. Rick Hinderer 3 inch XM-18.

I have about 8 great knives but my Benchmade 710 is still one of my favorites as it is strong and light with a 4" blade. Everything about it is just "right". I got a Kershaw "Groove" and have grown to like this knife more and more as it has a great blade shape, the handle fits well and the opening is very slick. My Cold Steel Black Sable is a little big but I love the fit and finish and the blade design. I wore it all day yesterday and it just felt good.:D :D

My fav is def my Bm 558. I swapped out the handles for OD green (fav color) and I also waved the blade on the 558. I really like my d4 wave but it just doesnt come near the cutting performance of the 558. I should really get around to try to thin out the blade on the d4.

Benchmade Ares. It's just one heck of a great knife. If there is one knife BM should put back in production it's the 73x ares.

There are many folders I like. But there's one that became my trusty companion for a few years now: Spyderco Adventura :D

I've had mine for a week now. got "my" edge on it. It's by far my favorite manual action folder. My favorite overall is BM presidio 5000 auto. Damn thing is like butter. And that *click* *POP* open is just this side of pure music to my ears.

For non-traditional knives, I'd have to say my Spyderco Scorpius PE. When I need a knife the cuts like a demon, holds it's edge, takes abuse, and won't make me cry if I lose or break it, that's the one. I'm not nuts about the way it looks or the stainless handle, but the combination of ergos, blade steel, and blade geometry are unrivalled in my opinion.

hmmmmm. i really love the sebenza but for sd carry i truly love my emerson k-bit.

guess ill just have to wait until i get more folders to say for sure :P

for under fifty buck i think hte camillus heat is a steal.

guessing bali's dont count.

Sebenza is great ..., I love my BM 814 mini AFCK also (3" blade length is perfect)...

But...may be Shilin folder is my favorite folder. It's a traditional Taiwanese slipjoint folder, first presented in 1869 at Shilin (now a part of Taipei city). There are only 2 stores still make and sell this kind of folder today.

It's my favorite, but not my edc. I have been cut badly, because of its lacking of lock system...

All pictures above are not take or draw by myself...

My manix, 710D2, 806D2, D2 griptilian, 615BK mini rukus, all the subcoms, my blade tech prohunter extreme with a black handle and one just like it on the way with the olive drab handle. oh I forgot my ontario RAT-1 and my Spyderco Black ATR.

well i must comment now. overall, the kershaw Offset. for use, kinda varies. i use anything from a S&W to a cheap lil CRKT to a kershaw Blur for any grunt work. alot of ppl harp on 440C but i have never had a problem with it.
