I'm a big fan of cru-wear. I wish there were more knives using it. I even prefer it over magnacut.Purchased this one yesterday and it’s headed my way. TPK Mini Camper in Cru-Wear with Amber G-10. Looking forward to this one. This is the maker’s picture.

If u like Cru-Wear go with PM2 or 3 Micarta scales, I have it for two years and it is still sharp. Love Cru-Wear amazing blade still!I'm a big fan of cru-wear. I wish there were more knives using it. I even prefer it over magnacut.
This is my first one in cru-wear. Two initial observations. It’s very stain resistant for a non-stainless. I live at the beach and right now it’s in the mid 90’s and 70% plus humidity. I had it in my pocket while push mowing grass for two hours. I was soaked with sweat and not even a hint of rust. I’ve had stainless steels show signs of rust under the same circumstances. The edge on this one was razor sharp with a very fine edge. It cut more like a low carbide carbon steel than I expected but of course the edge retention is excellent.I'm a big fan of cru-wear. I’ve heard it sharpens like a simple carbon steel and is easy to touch up as well. I enjoy sharpening so I’m looking forward to it.I've got a PM2 in cru-wear and really enjoy it. Right now I'm carrying the pm2 in 15v though.
Just wait until you sharpen it. Cru-wear is one of my favorite steels to sharpen. It can take a great edge.
Now look at SHFMy first Reeves arrived today. Like all of my knives, I had never seen or touched one until I unboxed it. It didn't fail to impress. Just a few years ago, when I started buying Chinese made budget knives, I didn't really think I'd go to this level in the hobby. But I have and this ain't the first time.
