Everyone's latest acquisitions!

What is the bottom knife? Hopefully not Chinese
Hoback Relentless, 2nd run USA made.

Well made with good action on the button lock. No billboarding for a clean appearance, just the axe on the clip. Hits the sweet spot at just under 3.5" for a solid compact folder, very similar to my L.G. VECP tanto. I really don't care about past controversy with the maker...

A couple more excellent RoseCraft knives. Not too shabby at all, and far easier to get than a GEC run knife these days. 🤣

* My new Etsy lanyard beads got shipped out to Gary W. Graley Gary W. Graley today with some knifes on which to be installed. I paired 7 beads with 5 knives, where two of the knives could go with one of two beads I paired with the knife.

These next two carbon fiber beads have strands of glow in the dark material in them...

On those two knives below, Flytanium Arcade and David Mary "Semi Sumo Jitsu", I believe that these would likely pair best with the more colorful "glow in the dark" beads that I paired them with. Those will also not scratch or dent the knives, being a soft material. I think the "blue bomb" is too dark blue for the Flytanium, and the Carbon Fiber with Micarta bead may not be colorful enough for the David Mary.

I'm going to wait to see what Gary thinks about these pairings when he gets the everything Friday...

No pictures ATM, but (and J jfk1110 will probably most appreciate this) I received some green micarta scales for my OD/blk CS AD15 today from a maker called Scalegarden.

They fit perfectly, look great, and completely improve the overall feel of the knife and draw from the pocket by eliminating that toothy milling in the stock G10 scales. Plus, it’s micarta, which I happen to always love.

I will say communication from the maker was not ideal at the onset, as I had originally ordered and paid for natural micarta via his webpage, and was the only available option showing as “in stock” at the time, though I had seen YT and Google results for other colors/materials folks had reviewed.

After placing the order, I did not receive shipping confirmation or any other notification for about a week, so I emailed him inquiring about status/possible lead time (wasn’t sure if they were made to order). He promptly replied to my email advising he was actually out of stock of the natural micarta, and the website must not have been updated correctly when I made the purchase. That said, he did offer either to issue a refund, or send me a set in OD green that he had made for his personal knife, and I opted for those. I’m sure either color would have looked great, so I wasn’t dead set on the natural.

I don’t know if his current lack of stock and offer to send me his personal ones is any indication as to whether or not he’s going to continue to make any more, but they are top notch and I’m glad I got them.

First new knife in awhile. Thanks for showing yours off, Gary W. Graley Gary W. Graley - you pushed me over the edge! 😁

This is my fourth Petrified Fish, and once again it doesn’t disappoint. Something about these knives punches way above their price point. Fit & finish, action and sharpness right out of the box. This one isn’t even my preferred blade shape, but it just called to me as soon as I saw it, and now that I’ve handled it a bit it’s super comfortable in hand.

I’ve been feeling guilty all evening due to a moment of weakness that lead to a little something that’s now headed my way.

Thanks for the morale boost guys! The guilt is gone!

Pics when it gets here. 😁

There is one thing in this world that will sooth that guilt. Buy another knife. It's the hair of the dog effect. lol
