Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Weird, I have 6 Sting and a Micro Sting, and they are all great. The micro Sting detent is a little light for my tastes, but otherwise the actions have been top notch.
I have only one other herman knife, and its pretty ok. This one was a dud though. Its shaping up well though. Dissapointing to have to put work in a fairly pricey knife though!

Buck is knocking it out of the park with the custom shop 110s.
Not everyone likes Buck knives, and that's fine. But I have Bucks that are 40 & 50 years old, have seen a lot of use, and I'm still carrying & using them. The price that they're asking for their Magnacut 110s from the Custom Shop is a real bargain, as far as I'm concerned. I'm hoping they offer a 112 in Magnacut soon. When they do, I'm jumping on that one right away too.

Case Trapper. Harvest Orange Jigged Bone. Case seems to have stepped up their game lately. This is like others I've gotten in the last couple months. Sharp. Centered. No gaps. Nice W&T. Flush bolster transitions. No proud pins.

I also carried this Griffin that came in last week.

Front flick and reverse flick below, but it's like opening a CRK Umnumzaan with the weird angles you have to push to open it. So at first I had a heck of a time flicking it open, until I figured out the weird angle pushing up towards the pivot the whole time, instead of up and then out.

My first AB, thanks to a good deal in the exchange.

First impressions - great knife all-around. Feels great in-hand and the ergos really stand out, and the size, weight, and slim profile make it easy to carry. Beautiful machine work and finish and great cutting performance. Not sure why these are often compared to Sebs, because they have very little in common, other than being Ti framelocks made by small shops.

I can see why they have a big following here. It ticks a lot of boxes and looks amazing to boot.

I think the flipper action is "good." It doesn't have the refined, glassy snap of something like a Skaha II, though. I think I was kind of hoping for that given the price point.

Overall, love it. Going into immediate rotation as a daily user.

If you got a washers version, they only get better with use and you can swap to bearings later if you want! I gotta pick up another at some point, the mammoth molar are stunning 😲

Yeah, I'll also probably give it a good cleaning and such and see where it's at after I've given it a go for awhile. I do think he nailed the form factor on this one - it just fits. One of those things you just can't tell from looking at pics until you hold it your hand.
I can tell he put a lot of thought into his design, and the execution is superb.

It's a team of four brothers following in their Dad's footsteps, a really cool company to support. Now that they offer stonewash, I gotta get one of those!

Two latest from my two favorites:
Vehement Knives Hitchhiker in satin CPM154 and brown stacked leather, nickel silver guard, aluminum pommel. Limited TAD Gear collaboration.
Carothers Performance Knives FK3 in stonewashed MagnaCut, crusty vintage micarta, heat-blued fasteners.

I'm quickly falling in love with that micarta Nathan smartly snagged.
