  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Everyone's latest acquisitions!

A Hogue Mini Doug Ritter in Magnacut. This might be the perfect knife for me. Checks every box on my want list. Size, Blade Steel, Nice rounded comfortable grip, and a full grip at that, G10 with Steel liners.

Heard a lot over the years about the similarity in handle between the Griptilian and the Ritter.

I can't speak for the full size, but the Hogue mini-Ritter handle has some significant differences for me compared to the Griptilian. Foremost is that it's effectively longer. The mini-Grip for me is a 3 1/2 finger knife. I can't get a full 4-finger grip on it. But I can with the Mini-Ritter. The shape is enough different that I get all four fingers onboard. That's a win right there.

Where’d you get a dollar? I need more of those.

Thanks for your comments and the pics. I have a Mini RSK in Magnacut from the recent run enroute that should arrive tomorrow.

I like my 556 Mini Grip a lot. Hoping to like the RSK even more.

I really like the harvest orange bone. I wish they would do a 6375 pattern stockman in it. Yours looks like it’s well done and the tip on the clip point comes to a nice point. The last couple of Case knives I’ve bought have had good fit and finish as well. Maybe the SOB killjoy that was rounding off all their tips finally retired.
I think they had more than one of them.... recently picked up a Texas jack from '92 and had to re-profile from the top and bottom edges of the tip. 😫

That's frustrating. I like that Texas jack 6292 pattern, but one of the two that I have has a really rounded tip that I've never dealt with like I should have.
