CKF Brat. This is my second CKF. I got a Blava a couple weeks ago and was impressed with the fit/finish and the glassy, smooth action. I like the Brat's odd design and the action is even better than the Blava. I'm not real experienced with this level of knife. I guess there's some controversy about where CKF's knives are made. All I know is that my Brat and Blava have a more premium feel than any of the knives I have that were oem'd by Reate and Bestech and cost more.

Decided that since I own 26 balisongs that I should finally learn how to do a few tricks, beyond the 3 basic opening moves that I can do.

So, I finally bought a SquidTrainer V4 which I was able to get at a reduced price directly from Squid Industries during their Black Friday sale.

I like the action of my Weehawk Kraken better but, of course, it costs more than the Squidtrainer:

I owned a Spyderco Smock before but sold it because I didn't like how it felt in my hand & how it compared (in theory) with the original Smock SK23:

Finally acquired an SK23, so I just bought another Spydie Smock to compare them side by side & I'll simply say that I wish that Spyderco had made a better copy of the SK23 & I'm glad that I was able to find an SK23, which I'm carrying now, to add to my collection

Always pleasing to have a new arrival  But that Houndstooth Grass Micarta is amazing, not seen this material before but it looks fantastic  That material would suit a lot of different knife patterns/styles.
