Just out of curiosity, what specifics about FRN that you didn’t like at first?

It felt rather light and cheap. I guess I’m just used to titanium and G10 with steel liners. But I got past that and I enjoy the Endura for what it is. And I’m pleasantly surprised with VG10. What an edge it takes

Yep !
I have tons of FRN but prefer the older "volcano" pattern ; same squares with a dimple but not directional ; just squares so they grip equally in all four faces . Until recently they were still found on the Salts .
