Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Lightning struck thrice and I completed my collection of the GiantMouse 10th-anniversary Jubilee celebration limited knives, all Damasteel and FatCarbon. They made 28 of each. I have #9 of the Gold Jubilee in gold Dark Matter FatCarbon and Odinheim Damasteel; #1 of the Silver Jubilee in silver Space Coral FatCarbon and Vinland Damasteel; and #2 of the Copper Jubilee in copper Space Coral FatCarbon and Super Dense Twist Damasteel. Got very fortunate because the Gold Jubilee knives were only going to be sold in-person at their storefront in Michigan, and they were only going to sell online if there were leftovers. Fortunately 14 made it to online sale, and I managed to snag one.

Really I guess lightning struck four times, as I also scored a first-come, first-served Oz drop, which I have been trying to do for more than a year without success (won a lottery draw once for a regular Rosie) for a half-dress XL Rosie with angle milling, Vanax, and blurple Zircu-ti clip and backspacer.

Just in straight from TRM. These knives are just outstanding. This is by far the easiest opening thumbstud folder I’ve owned, even easier than the Neutron II, while not being loosie-goosie dropshutty. It’s light, tight, action is smooth as silk, liner lock has just the right amount of grip for the thumb to disengage with minimal effort. And laser-sharp out of the box. TRM was a dream to deal with. I cannot say enough about the company and its knives. I think a Bulldog Rev B just passed a Buck Range on the list of last knives I’ll ever purchase.

Regarding the Spyderco Sprint Military 2 Brown G10 PE 15V that I received yesterday:

Didn't feel strongly about buying it but was persuaded that I "should" buy something using 15V steel due to the bankruptcy of Crucible Industries that makes it but that doesn't mean that some other company might not buy the company &/or the rights to make 15V & other steels once owned by Crucible.

Nonetheless, I bought it & these are the 3 Military 2's now in my collection:

From top to bottom they are the:

1) Military 2 Black G10 PE S30V
2) Military 2 Sprint CF PE S90V
3) Military 2 Sprint Brown G10 PE 15V

I also own 9 Military 1's but that's another matter.

And lastly, regarding this full sized Koenig Arius that I received yesterday as well:

I've been looking for a full sized Arius & an XL Oz to buy for some time but I always found the asking prices for them too high for my taste but I finally found this Arius for what I considered a "reasonable" price (less than what some sellers are asking for a mini) & I jumped on it.

I really like this knife & it joins these other Ti folders in my collection which all share 1 thing in common, my preference for simple & elegant knife designs:

From top to bottom these are the:

1) Koenig Arius
2) Shirogorov Ursus NL
3) Real Steel Megalodong 2017
4) Olamic Rainmaker
5) Krein Shard
6) Arno Bernard iMamba
7) LionSteel ROK
8) Spyderco Drunken

Now I just need to find an XL Oz for something close to what I just bought the Arius for. Wish me luck!!! LOL! 😉

ALL nice!
Love the Nirvana!

IMO, the Nirvana is the better of the Rassenti Spyderco designs & I like it far better than the Paysan.

Not surprisingly to me, the asking prices for the Paysan have dropped from $1k down to around $600. I got the Paysan that I just bought for less than that which was the primary reason that I bought it back. No way I would have paid $1k for it.

In comparison, asking prices for the Nirvana have risen to around $2k & recent sales have been around $1-1.3K. So, current relative FMV between the Nirvana & the Paysan is about 2 to 1.
