First world problemAn almost impulse buy of a CRK Pacific. I'd been wanting one, didn't want to wait years for it, or pay the high price on the secondary market (it's a user, not a wall hanger), and everytime one that wasn't overpriced was listed anywhere it was gone in hours. Walked into my local shop and they had like ten in stock. So I bought one. Now I have to figure out which I like better, the Pacific or the Difensa. Each has something I like better than the other.
Thanks.View attachment 2977295

They are both awful. Send them to me so I can end your internal conflict! An almost impulse buy of a CRK Pacific. CRK and a Spartan? Wear both. Use both. Keep both. Enjoy both.
[Don't send them to norcalAF. We're still trying to convince him to stop running with scissors!]

You should probably start a thread in the Razors, Scissors & Personal Grooming subforum.Running with scissors is part of my proud heritage!
Nailed it!Grip-Tec is the material. I think, but don’t quote me, it’s a rubber and resin composite material. It feels really good in the hand. I wash every knife I buy (because I’m weird) and when this material gets wet it is super grippy.
That looks amazing! Would love to hear what you think about it on a folder. I am not super active here, but will try to follow along.Just completed- another Guy Poggetti. Sanjo in XC130 (with hamon), and GripTec “GripX” brass for the scales.
I’ve only had GripTec on a fixed blade before, so definitely looking forward to feeling it on a folder.

I enjoy GripTec- it has that nice rubbery feel, even when wet. It may actually become grippier when wet! Despite rubber’s predilection to go soft, it seems GripTec is quite tough. That looks amazing!
