Think finally read up that Millie’s used 420 in the Western line but had a titanium bonding process that help strengthen, and help corrosion resistance. I sharpened it a little today and no it takes an edge well afainjj no j still think it is stainless based on the shine on the steel. Finally posts a few pics of it.Bought an old Western cutley 2 blade hunter in delrin, 062from what I read it is a Camillus made after they bought Western in the early 90’s Just has Western USA and 062, it does not have Boulder, CO. I assume it carbon steel but it looks awfully shiny so I wonder if it’s stainless steel blades, there are rust spots on the top of theblades, but doesn’t look like any patina. It also does not say stainless on the shield.
