Everyone's latest acquisitions!

The David Beaver custom I had ordered and posted about a couple pages back seems to be lost/stolen and USPS admitted as much
Third party insurance company accepted the claim and has already paid out.

If you’re shipping a knife worth more than a few hundred (or whatever your comfort level is), it’s totally worth it to go for the third party insurance!
Yes, I completely agree. Sending one off tomorrow, and am definitely going to have it insured!

That is a BUMMER. Hate to hear it even though insurance will cover.

DennisM DennisM had talked about a Busse Combat War Train Fusion. I didn’t think I wanted one. But, when one went in front of me, I couldn’t say no.
WTF

BTW… Dennis sold me my first Busse. Oh boy, I didn’t know what I was in for😅

This green linen Special Presentation NARK (Nuclear Air Rescue Knife) by Busse is also a recent acquisition👍🏼

One more… a Busse prototype Smatchet, crosscut Mammoth tusk, one of four. These four were in a Black Friday blind grab bag!

I didn’t even know there was such a thing. Who does third party insurance for USPS packages? I wish I had known that before shipping a bunch of very expensive bamboo fly rods. The experience wouldn’t have been so stressful.

Swapped blades after I was able to score the aluminum handled one last week for $74 off Amazon. Now the cf one is perfect with the black stonewashed blade. Also added skiff bearings and lynch clips on each. I didn’t think the action could be any better but the skiffs take it to another level.
