Third party insurance company accepted the claim and has already paid out.
If you’re shipping a knife worth more than a few hundred (or whatever your comfort level is), it’s totally worth it to go for the third party insurance!

I didn’t even know there was such a thing. Who does third party insurance for USPS packages? I wish I had known that before shipping a bunch of very expensive bamboo fly rods.
