Camera not working. I sold some knives to get these, Spyderco medium size Lum folder in Nisijin, Spyderco Shaman collectors edition, Benchmade Mini Onslaught, Bradford Guardian 3 Wharnie in M390
I think this will be it for a while, Depends if I want to stay married or not.

A Pacific Cutlery (later Benchmade) 983 swing knife designed by Barry Wood from the late 1980s (87? 88?). This is my third swing knife. These were originally patented in the US in the late 1800s but were brought back to life, so to speak, by the late Barry Wood in the 1970s. I'd really like a Barry Wood custom but this seemed like a pretty cool alternative. Apparently, Barry (and others) could open this knife one handed but I can't and the instructions that came included with the knife describe two-handed opening. (I can open my smallest swing knife one-handed. This is my largest.) All three of the swing locks that I own feature different locks. This one locks up pretty solid without resorting to any moving hardware aside from the frame itself.

Delivered a day early! Best fit and finish I've had on a Manix yet, even a little better than on my CF/Cruwear one. And a virtually perfect, even, razor sharp 15 dps edge.
