Kunwu Django XL arrived today. Very well made. Ti, Elmax, with DLC blade and accents. A buddy of mine let me handle his Pulsar and Padre a while back, and I was impressed with the quality, but I preferred the clip point of the standard Django, and they all seemed just a little small to me. Enter the XL, and I was totally on board.

You should try hand modeling 😜 great lines on that one, I really like their polished DLC 😁

Gawrsh! I have never been told I should do any kind of modeling, of any part, in my entire life.

The knife is solid, feels really good in (my apparently sexy) hand, and it came absolutely screaming sharp. The polished DLC looks awesome, but is definitely a smudge magnet.

My 10th Anniversary Gerber 06 auto landed today. Everyone says: this one is a heavy-carry, I didn't notice it at all. Well-built, blade snaps-open, with authority, and no blade-play at all! Billboarding on the side doesn't bother me either. Feels really solid in-the-hand! Razor-sharp from the box.

I snatched this one off the bay at a very good price yesterday. I’m really hoping it to be ww1 or at least ww2 era. Identical to German trench knives carried in both world wars. Condition of the leather makes me think it could also be 60s or 70s, but that alone isn’t enough to draw any conclusions. Ive seen 200 year old knives look better than this, mostly depends on storage. Will be looking for a makers mark once it arrives, that might give me some idea as to its age.

Here a ww1 sheath for comparison, absolutely identical in construction:

Just bought the night hunter from work tuff gear sorry no pics yet still on the way.
This will be the first and last one for me from them. I had to pay a tariff and duty fees around $80.00 so cool knife to my collection boo to the extra cost of buying it. Sorry but an extra 80 to cost is a one time thing only.
Just out of curiosity the $80 is that shipping and tariffs or tariffs alone?
I got a night hunter back in December shipped to Canada and was charged near $80 US for shipping, local taxes and DHL fees.
Love the knife tho it is one serious chopper.
