Great trade with Adam - a boatload of homegrown citrus and a couple knives too.

The check from USPS is reimbursement for my Protech TR3 user lost somewhere between Utah -Ohio, the Bogdan and Twosun found their way home and I was gifted the orange Cold Steel.

Finally received this pokey, slicy little beauty! Couldn’t be happier with it. Even better than I expected! I’d seen some early YouTube videos saying they were roughly finished, especially around the liners and clips, top of the blade, etc. well apparently Boker was listening because mine has no such issues. Like I said, couldn’t be happier…
 
These have come to me over the last week. They come in bunches at times and I don't know why. I have learned that if I think I want it, then I better grab it. They can disappear fast.

I'm a Hinderer fan and have been wanting to try a 3.25" XM-18. I learned a couple of years ago that I'm powerless over RHK and they can make my life unmanageable, so I must tread lightly.
I'm new to Demko and this 20.5 is my second. I used to watch vids of Demkos and wonder why? I'm getting it now.
The Snafu has been a long time grail of mine. I'm just going to go ahead and say it, I like CKFs a lot.

I never did get over this way much, even when I was buying a lot of knives. I've slowed down on purchases a lot in the last few years as there's less cash to throw around now that I'm retired. I've kinda stuck to grabbing grails here and there when they've popped up. Here's a few from the last year and a half or so.

Benchmade 908 to go with my 908BK-1501 in a trade with my wife for my BMK 531. This one just yesterday. Usually a trade doesn't cost anything but shipping, but I actually bought both knives originally.

Benchmade Ruckus--definitely a grail that I'd just missed out on several times in the past. I stumbled on this at AZCK after reading a thread by someone who broke his.

Spartan Harsey Flourishes--one that I'd admired since its release. A friend wrote and offered it for a very fair price and I couldn't resist.

Another SHF. Same friend, same sort of offer, same lack of resistance on my part.

And then there was the Arius. I'd often scanned the Exchange looking for just the right one and a decent price, usually never even being tempted, as most were way overpriced for years. I stepped in it finding this one right after it posted.

Last one for now. I really like early Russian knives with crossbar locks. Shiro started out early with them and I had a nice Tabargan which I stupidly sold, but got another plainer one which I'm happy to have. I always wanted a similar Cheburkov and found this hybrid Scout/Snatch not all that long ago.
