Their initial run was, to my understanding. However, all of their fixed blades and standard run Trappers appear to now be made by White River. In fact, WRK offers Smith & Sons models (branded as WRK knives) on their site, in different configurations, so if there's a Smith & Sons knife you want, but don't like the choices on S&S's site, might want to check WRK's site out!I thought their folders were made in Italy?

Smith & Sons concentrates on the "Custom" runs of these models, to my understanding. Upgraded scales, finishes, sheathes, etc.
IMHO - Protech is the best bang for the automatic buck ...
