I actually prefer the notch over the hole in the blade but I agree that the IMamba is one of the best looking folders ever made. Beautiful blade.Very nice! I personally think the Imamba is one of the best looking folders that’s ever been made. It looks a lot like a grown up CRK Mnandi which is also at the top of my list of best looking folders. I own both but would prefer my Mnandi had a thumb hole instead of a notch.
I bought my Imamba flipper delete from one of the Bernards when they released at Bladeshow last year. I went with Mammoth molar because why not?.?. I’d like to get a plain one next.

It’s not a hill to die on for me. The models with thumb holes I’ve handled were just a bit easier to open in my hands. Nothing to do with aesthetics. I think the notch actually looks better on the Mnandi.I actually prefer the notch over the hole in the blade but I agree that the IMamba is one of the best looking folders ever made. I can’t stand thumb holes. Never liked them on any blade. Probably why I’ve never been a big Spydie guy. Yes, I know they definitely are practical and do help deployment. I still don’t like them. Others obviously do, but that’s a just my own personal quirk. Variety is the spice of life. I’m glad they make them in both configurations. It gives us options. It’s not a hill to die on for me. The Imamba looks like what would happen if a Mnandi and a Spyderco GB2 (another favorite) had a baby. Maybe I’m the only one that sees it but that’s what comes to mind.

Scared the shit out of me for a second. Outstanding work my friend.
I'm so glad ya found one. Nope not lightweight or traditional but what an EDC if your up to the challenge. I love large folders and the spyderco Sub-Hilt delivers that very very well IMO. It looks fancy and delicate but from my experience is nothing of the sort. Thanks towaynemanning74 for providing information about this knife - have wanted one since I saw one of his posts a while ago - really cool knife, definitely not a traditional lightweight Spyderco
