While I’d love to say this Spyderco was an amazing garage sale find or pulled from my grandfather’s attic, it was a far less exciting eBay purchase. I’ve recently found AI to be a surprisingly helpful tool for evaluating used items online.

By feeding AI images and descriptions, it effectively builds a case for or against a purchase. While I wouldn't trust its assessment blindly, it provides a great checklist to verify before making a purchase.

I’m very happy with the C01 Worker. The seller listed it as New Old Stock, and despite my initial skepticism, it appears to be completely accurate. I’m incredibly impressed by the build quality and tight tolerances of this vintage Spyderco. This is one of the later versions from the 90s I believe

Steffen Meyer from Germany: the Giraffe steak knife, with a giraffe bone handle, made of 7-layer Kistner steel; the core layer is ApexUltra, and the tang is tapered... I think it’s really 🔥😀
