I’ve been evolving my carry habits over the past few months and have come to realize that I consistently reach for lighter knives over the heavier ones. So I decided to do a bit of a reset and start narrowing the rotation around what I actually enjoy carrying. These two came yesterday, and I'm starting to prefer the cutting power of the serrated blades as well when I'm in the field.

@Crag the Brewer fixed up my broken Loreno. It went from spending the rest of its life in a drawer to a useable slicing machine!!!

New model from Fiddleback Forge, and I managed to snag the first one with the rare matching bullseye. I like pointy. I think it's perfect for the project I'm working. I think it looks perfect for a traveler who has been some places and seen some things. I'm digging the new handle shape Andy came up with.

Ordered one of these bestech bug knives. Looks like a great pocket option for cutting ivy/brush. 14C steel. I wish blade was longer (it’s 3”) but beggars can’t be choosers I guess. Didn’t see that many options out there for this type of knife. Green micarta. As I understand it the designer’s son helped design this. His name is Lucas and his name is on the knife. He was 12 years old at the time apparently. Reminds me of that movie “quartermass and the pit’ from the 1950s somehow” or maybe starship troopers or maybe district 9 ha ha!
