Winkler bottle opener knife!

Really loving it! I overlooked this one at first and I originally desired their sgian dubh knife but this grew on me. I also dig the sheath with the additional retention thing. Really good for sheath paranoid person like me.

The grip is basically three fingers with fourth on the hook.

I will be testing the opener tomorrow!

Got this new A5 today. Next to the one on the right which I got a few years ago it’s noticibly slimmer.

Got this one on ebay. The action was pretty stiff and it had an annoying bit of lock stick, but she's dialed in pretty good now with a fresh edge to boot

Love the simple stuff some times! Took a sticky .1 micron polish edge and it screaming sharp.

Snagged a slightly 'pre-loved' CPK HDFK recently. I have most of the wants/needs covered (several times over), so not many offerings on the market 'wowing' me much these days, but this one seems pretty solid. Nice ergos and uncoated Delta 3V...good for the real world.

I have the blades/gear...now what I need the time to go do some stuff...soon...youngsters are getting there...another year or so (hopefuly)...

Many times over the years, I walked into shops with money in hand, ready to buy a CRK, and left with other things. I decided this would be the year to break the cycle. So, I ordered a small 21 Insingo. A few hours later, Semi-Custom Jasmine #17 of 50 popped up on the secondary market. I decided to get it, but didn’t cancel the Sebbie order, because ... commitment. Or... something.

I love them both.
