  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Everyone's latest acquisitions!

(Sorry for the duplicate post in a few different threads, but I really like this one!)
I just received a new scale from Rick Hinderer. He has been going through the workshop and offering up some really cool stuff that he finds. I was lucky enough to be on FB at just the right time and claimed this double anodized laser engraved dog paw scale. I’ve never seen another one like it. Paired it with bronze anodized screws and a dog paw clip. This is my new favorite. Really happy with this one!

I ordered this today due to a sale price and dividend from REI. I'm a fan of both the Griptilian and Mini-Grip (which has been my daily carry for years). I've read many good things about this one and at the price I paid ($113 delivered), it's worth acquiring. Love the design more than the Griptilian line.

Arrived about 15 minutes ago. My initial impressions?

Big
Sexy
Sharp
Slippery
Keeper
Damn!

I’ll spend the day with it and see what I think. If I do decide to keep it I see a trip to the spa for it. If it stays it will be a work knife so I’ll need more grip. View attachment 1314101

Beautiful Umnumzann. I know it's a Wilson Combat, but who did the finish of the scales? Looks like the raised parts were satin finished.

The original owner I just bought it from did a scotch bright finish to it. It’s absolutely beautiful but I admit I don’t like the finish. It’s just too smooth for me to use as an actual work knife. It’s listed on the exchange right now...
