  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Lon Humphrey Bell Bowie. His and hers. Mine is the bottom one.

This is kind of a different "new acquisition" post.

I was digging through my storage closet and came across a bug out bag I had tucked away in the back and frankly forgot all about. I found inside, among all sorts of cool goodies:

A like new Schrade SCHF9
A SOG Daggert2 ... again, in perfect shape, only some scuffing from the sheath.
A SOG Tomahawk, perfect shape.

I was like....dang!!!

I put them with the rest of my blades and am going to sharpen them up a bit, oil them, then, back in the BOB they go.

TBH, this was mostly prompted by a fear of loss with the inlay micarta 21s disappearing pretty quickly from retailers, but definitely happy I finally pulled the trigger. I was looking for a more common micarta color, but now very happy I could only find the exclusive red micarta. I think it looks great in person and I'm betting it'll look better over time.
That edge is beautiful, great work! I'd like to see that small CG Damascus sebby :)
