^ Now i see why you drooled when someone recently posted that Maher & Grosh knife with that general custer inscription on the blade...

Found a "new" Uncle Henry 885 to replace the one I retired in 2000 after I carried it every single day for 30 years.

Every day for 30 years ! that is astounding.Thats got to be the edc record, for single knife carry.im impressed. And people complain and make big deals about about warrantys.Boy did you get your moneys worth.Glad you posted this, its great!

Well, my A Apurvis Progeny came...

And I'm I'm disappointed. The detent is so strong it can't be opened with the thumbstud, and needs enormous pressure on the flipper. It's so strong it rubs the blade and basically negates the bearings. Ugh my third disappointing purchase from DLT. WTF?

My most recent is from last weekend...a Le Thiers Gentleman in full CF. Nice and lightweight. :) Really really enjoying this.
RayseM RayseM cause I know ya like Le Thiers. :)

Yes I do Sharp & Fiery Sharp & Fiery :) This one of yours looks like a sleek contemporary classic. Subtle is good  Light weight is a nice feature too.

Here is my LePocket partnered up this week with an artful Romanian "puukko" by @BogdanS, which is my latests acquisition. I have another on the way from Bogdan - an Opinel style folder I call the Bogdanel. More photos when that one lands.

Just a beautiful paring, Ray. Love the Puukko and the leather scales on the Lepocket. Excellent. :)

I've had some good luck at a pawn shop lately. The people there know ill buy good knives so they call me when they get something in they think ill like. Got the recon 1, and 2 kershaw lately, thats also where I found the zt0561 in original box which is my main edc now. The Leatherman is from blade HQ though, thought it was finally time to try and edc one, can't say how many times I've needed a small tool and didn't have one.

While I didnt fall in love with my v2... it did not have any of the issues you mentioned... sounds like you might have received a lemon that got through QC but who knows... my experience might be the exception not the rule.
