My latest acquisition is an SOG Q3 multi tool. It's rather unique in that instead of folding together to close, it folds out straight.

It has a nice section of tools, and they all lock open. The linear form factor makes it surprisingly easy to pocket carry. The only thing I don't like about it is the lack of scissors. I tend to use those a lot on my other multi tools and SAKs.

Finally gave into temptation and ordered a Mini Bugout which arrived today.

Took it apart and gave it a bath in some Rit Dye.

This CJRB Gobi just arrived this morning, and I am super impressed! Amazing how good a $40 knife is now a days. This has Artisan's new steel, AR-RPM9, ball bearings, skeletonized liner, inset liners, jade g10, the pocket clip is inset and has flush mount screws! It also came shaving sharp, the action is great, it locks up solid and the liner lock is exactly where I want in a new knife, and it was very, very clean out of the box. I will be buying more knives from CJRB for sure!

I will probably also try and dye these scales to get them a tangerine orange color shortly. They look great as is, but boy do I love me some orange EDC gear!
