And then the October Buck of the Month. A barehead Buck 500 in Desert Ironwood and S30V, featuring a long pull and stainless steel bolster.

Did you ever get your Damacore blade finished yet?? Or am I having a brain fart???

Been buying a lot of "gifts" for myself this year but this one I consider a gift to myself for my 71st b-day (just passed).

It's a Olamic Rainmaker Kinetic Ocean M390 in Bronze Ti w/Gold Accents (not fully visible in the pics) that I just got a for very good price off of the Exchange. It cost me far less and is worth far more than the ridculous current asking prices for a Slyze Bowie.

Shot photos of it together w/a ZT 0452 G10 M390 Rose Gold Sprint for comparison. Too nice to carry but a fabulous addtion to my collection! :)

In addition, here's a pic of the Rainmaker w/a Wayfarer; the only 2 Olamics that I own. The Wayfarer is smaller/more compact and better to carry but the Rainmaker is more to my liking because of its size.

Beautiful Rainmaker. It’ll grow on you. Don’t ask me how I know. Happy birthday!

As nice as the new Blade Forum knife is, I like the GEC with the double acorns better, there is something about an undecorated bolster that calls for an embellishment.

The "Camp Knife" has arrived...
Perfect for peeling potatoes, cutting flowers, and settling arguments: this beastie will handle a lot of
the chores around a typical deer camp.
(I guess it's tough enough to split open a deer or bear pelvis also...)
David Mary did a fan-dang-TASTIC job of building it for me.
If you need a fixed-blade knife: give him a holler!
