Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Finally purchased a Hinderer that I think that I want to keep!

It has been a "Goldilocks" affair. The Gen 6 XM18-3 was "too small" and the XM24 was "too big" (and I sold them both because of that), but the recurved Gen 6 XM18-3.5 that I just bought seems to be "just right."

It fits my hand like a glove. I particularly like the recurved blade (because I'm a Ken Onion fan and just like that shape) as well as the choil which is also perfectly positioned for my hand. It's currently running on bearings and the blade action is very smooth.

Who knows what I'll think of it down the road but I'm very happy w/it for now. :)

Got my first OTF knife today. Very nice but pretty expensive, it's sebenza money!

"UTX-85 II S/E Signature Series Tactical Standard" it says on the box.

Anybody knows what is special with the signature series and who has the signature on my knife? Tried a little googling but came up short and there is no info on this in the box. On MT's homepage it just says:

"Our Signature Series lineup is designed for the customer who is seeking a more exclusive option from our Core Series production models. Our Signature Series knives often incorporate premium materials and finishes such as carbon fiber, copper, Damascus, and DLC. The Signature Series line also includes our themed knives such as the Bounty Hunter, Memento Mori, and Molon Labe."

Any info is appreciated.

I believe the handle milling is different from the regular plain versions. Don't know who the signature is though. Only major difference if I'm not mistaken.

I posted this in the switchblade section of the forum too, I was told it's Tony Marfione's signature, the owner and founder of Microtech.

Got a little carried away this week.. Got another large Inkosi and the Amalgam on Monday. Got the Malibu and for whatever reason a Wander Tactical Mistral on Wednesday.. something about not very useful, large, weird folders always gets me.. plus ordered a Shirogorov Quantum Ursus NL today, supposed to be here Monday 😆

I got to handle one of those Malibus in Arizona Monday. It's actually a pretty neat, enjoyable knife.
