No idea if truly discontinued, but I haven’t seen it since that 12/2019 run on any of their knives. They do sometimes go a couple years or more between color runs. I’ve got some other colors from 2019 that haven’t been released since, so who really knows?

TOPS Wolf Pup XL recently came in and it's my biggest small knife. It's got a lot of different ways to hold it, solid 1095 build, with a Linen Micarta handle.

When I was researching this knife, like some similarly shaped knives, the first thing I noticed in consumer reviews was how many people cut themselves with it, often the first time they drew it from its sheath. The thing most likely responsible for these accidents is how the blade comes out of the Kydex sheath. For most sheaths the end of the sheath is where the blade first emerges. For this shape of knife, where the blade drops down a lot lower, this blade is coming out 1.5" below the end of the sheath. If you're holding that sheath in one hand to pull the knife with the other hand, you're going to get cut if your hand strays into that space where it would be completely safe on another knife sheath. It's a good knife, but it's something you need to be aware of when you use a lot of different shaped knives.

Got some cool new 3D wing scales for the Atom. I was kinda hoping the 3D contouring would make the handle thicker, but I think the opposite is true. Oh well, they're still pretty cool looking
