Not a new knife, but changed these to new scales, first actual aftermarket scale change! And first Ti. Metonboss flared Victoria scales, thinking of getting some blue or purp hardware for this...

Also, abandoning the Civvie for the Cricket! This Cricket puts the Civvie to shame, and the Medfords and Striders, too, for that matter. This knife teaches me the meaning of an overbuilt framelock! I feel America surging through me when I pick it up... my hat automatically flips backwards and a pair of Oakleys gravitate to my face

Also going to change the scales on that Matriarch, with the scales from the Endura trainer, and use it as my mushroom knife. It will look super-evil then, and a signet ring Only thing is, it matches my Yojumbo...

I love the waved Spydies, even though I already have aftermarket waves installed on a bunch of knives including the Endura, I kind of want to get the base Spydie version, for the Saber-like grind unique to those models, do you like it?

And a general musing on the Civilian, like I said with the Yojumbo before I put a wave on it... the Civilian needs a wave to be considered seriously!

I agree. I always have one close by in my edc bag, and I use the tools a lot (especially the screwdrivers), but this will be the first one to be pocket carried. I’m still looking for a SAK that I’m not sure actually exists. I want one in alox that has the large blade, saw, can opener/screwdriver, bottle opener/screwdriver. Simple, but I would use the hell out of it.

Yes, that is what I had in mind, minus the awl because I never really considered having an awl. That would definitely work for me, I like the looks of that.

I never thought I’d get much use out of the awl, boy was I surprised. lol
