Here is the fake PM2 Tanto, the comp lock is absolutely terrible, you can very easily tell and feel that this is not a Spyderco, unless you've never handled the brand.
Also there are visual features, like the F'ed up spider logo, the font is off compared to the real PM2 and the ricasso line does not go past the hole like it should. Also, the liners are still not nested, which is good, this is the most obvious thing to check for so as to not buy a fake PM2.

Also, it says "Golden.Colorado U.S.A.Earth" on the back, not "Golden, Colorado U.S.A, Earth". Check for this, too.

So, good, there are still pretty distinguishable visual features on the knife such as this that would let someone know it is not real. Because it definitely doesn't feel anything close to real, feels like a terrible backwards liner lock. I am wondering if, because the thing is not nested like a normal PM2, if you could use these scales on the full-liner Crucarta PM2. This could be an aftermarket scales hack for that knife.

Freshly received from the mailbox ! I've been trying to score one of these for quite a while now. What a beauty !! Definitely one of my new favorites. Well today ended up being as good as Christmas ! I got the Microtech Socom that I posted earlier this morning, in the mail. Then I get home from work and UPS had dropped off my Spartan Plague Dr knife, that I just paid off on Knife Center layaway. I got the Spartan Warthog a few weeks ago, but had to put it in with the other one because they are so nice to look at ! Man I've came a long way from my Ebay Kershaw days. The sad part is, a lot of the Kershaws I bought were older and not exactly cheap. I'm sure everyone has seen some of the prices on there. I spend my knife money more wisely these days, thanks to the fine folks on BF showing me the way !1649543235200.jpg1649543236332.jpg

Now I need to invest in a decent digital camera. Cause the pictures aren't very good on this phone lol.
 
I was looking at the plague doctor...
My latest acquisition hasn't yet been acquired. Purchased it 3 weeks ago (today); but the tracking hasn't updated since 3/21. I wasn't too concerned until I saw that somebody that purchased a week after me received his already.
