Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Oh yea.

I've both the Roselli Carpenter and the Roselli UHC Carpenter and UHC Hunter. Frankly, I like the regular Carpenter better. I find UHC steel a b*tch to sharpen, even light honing. (I'm a good sharpener- 70 years freehand). The UHC holds an edge a wee bit longer, but to me not worth the effort.

My first Roselli, and yes I'll try a knife in the W75 but wanted to try this steel. As a carpenter of many years I'm pretty "sensitive" to steels/tools etc and will be using this as a larger wood knife along with numerous smaller carving blades.

Yes have heard its not easy re sharpening although it came a little dull and stropped up fine.

Can't seem to download a pic but just recieved a Roselli UHC hunter. Beautiful little knife with great carbon steel.

Welcome to BladeForums D Dav1

Pictures are easy, just the instructions seem hard. Most importantly you need to use another picture hosting site and link the picture, directly posting a picture to BladeForums is one of the perks that comes with a paid membership.

Here is a link that takes you directly to instructions on how to do this. Follow the instructions in the very first post, second paragraph (for non paid members). In the next (second) post are instructions for both IPhone & Android users.

Direct link on how to post pictures:

Here is another direct link on image sizing in case your photos are too large. You need to remember to keep your pictures under 1mb in size, or else you will get a error or “oops, something went wrong”, or just a complete stall of your download:

Last, here is a direct link for you to practice posting your pictures and test posting. Use it as much as you want and make as many errors as it takes. Nobody will care what goes wrong there, that’s what the thread is for (practice &test):

If you have a question about the picture posting or just get hung up, use the Tech Support forum to ask away, it may take a short time to get an answer, but it’s visited regularly by other members who will gladly help you out. Direct link to Tech Support:

Pictures are easy, really, a lot easier than it just took for me to write this up for you. Good luck and ask away on any help you may feel you need along the way. Then get back to this thread and let’s see a picture of your beautiful Roselli UHC Hunter. 👍

Welcome again D Dav1

My newest addition is courtesy of Dalibor who provided exactly what I wanted! Steel is 5160. Scales are stabilized walnut, black G10 liners and carbon fiber pins and lanyard tube. Terrific- fitting sheath, very comfortable in hand, balances well and would be welcome in the kitchen as well as a hunting/campsite! Was a real pleasure working with Dalibor; he keeps up the communication until he’s sure of what you want!

These all showed up within a week or so of each other. It was a confluence finding things available I was looking for, and some going on “clearance.”

Top to bottom:

Benchmade Adamas Fixed (Old style in D2)

Spartan Harsey Folder Watchworks Special Edition

Spyderco Yojumbo S90V Sprint

DLT exclusive Spyderco PM2 in CruWear/Purple G10

Zero Tolerance 0762

Zero Tolerance 0990

Benchmade Tengu (clearance)

Not pictured:

Spyderco Swayback (titanium handled integral lock folder.)

I work an insane* amount of OT, and use the overwhelming majority of it in the usual “financially smart” ways. I do occasionally treat myself to some nice things though. It just happened that a lot came available in a very short time period. I also am lucky to qualify for significant discounts on some knives as a professional firefighter/paramedic.

*I am in a very small, uniquely qualified group of supervisors at my fire department that can work a number of very specialized positions, so I frequently work as much or more OT in a week than most full time people work in regular hours.
Good for you............you have an important job that protects us.
Enjoy the fruits of your labor buying what Will make you happy.
I understood the point of becoming the richest man in the cemetery.

A big chunk of S7 (10 x 0.28”) is heading this way :)

Many moons ago I purchased nearly every “sr77 proto” they brought to the Golden Manor Hotel Show (knob creek). One of the big ones I sold to a guy and after he used it somewhat hard it took on one of the more odd effed up edges I had ever seen. Will try and remember to dig the pics up for ya.
