Everyone's latest acquisitions!

I picked up a CIVIVI Plethiros, with a 154CM steel blade and black rubbed copper handle. It's designed by the late Elijah Isham and recent events put this up a bit higher in the order of purchase, after seeing a lot of his models recently out of stock and/or discontinued. I appreciate his approach to design, even if they often look a bit less practical, but for getting a representation of his work it came down to a personal choice between the Plethiros and the Megatherium, which were both on the list. Other than choosing the heavier copper handle, I felt the Plethiros was something I'd get more use out of, with my love of Santoku style kitchen knives. I also just liked the look of it, despite the fact that I will generally choose Kizer over Civivi. As alien as Elijah Isham's designs feel to a lot of people, his handle ergonomics really fit my hand well. Referencing a recent forum thread on the subject of bearings vs washers, this is one knife that is crying out for some washers, instead of ball bearings, due to the hefty blade and handle. Do either WE or CIVIVI even produce any knives with washers?

Olamic Knives are certainly more slimming than potato chips and not just because you won't be able to afford food if you buy too many of them. :)
